Parents create chores e.g. make your bed, then add cool images and point values; they then add notes to let kids know why it’s important; inform them who has given them the chore and then finally assign them to their kids.

Kids access Choremonster through an app or website, to let parents know they’ve completed the chore. Once approved they receive points towards a reward that everyone has agreed on in advance. Our kids have included everything from pizza nights to rollerskates and video games.

We have no relationship with Choremonster and we are sure that there are other apps that do something similar, it just happens to be the app that we use to motivate our kids to take responsibility around the house and make it fun for them to help out.[/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”the daily lifehack summary” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ce879f” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1466506807388{border-top-width: 3px !important;border-right-width: 3px !important;border-bottom-width: 3px !important;border-left-width: 3px !important;padding-top: 40px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;background-color: #ce879f !important;border-left-color: #58646d !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #58646d !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #58646d !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #58646d !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}”]
