Instead, we focus on the past (which creates feelings of regret), or the future (which creates feelings of anxiety), when in reality the present moment i.e. ‘now’ is all that we ever have and all that ever is.

Being mindful allows us to exist in this present moment, to see our thoughts for what they really are (just thoughts), to gain perspective and to live life with a calm sense of clarity and focus.

What a fantastic gift to pass on to our children.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”so how to teach our kids?” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ce879f” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]As a family we really like to listen to the Headspace app (Puddiscombe’s company) in the morning, we really like the 10 free sessions available and have found tremendous benefit in using them regularly.

(Note: We have no affiliation to Headspace and we are sure that a quick google search will reveal similar alternatives).

All it requires is 10 minutes a day and you can reset and recharge your brain, so you have clarity and focus for the day ahead- 10 minutes well spent, in our opinion.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”the daily lifehack summary” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ce879f” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1467842818071{border-top-width: 3px !important;border-right-width: 3px !important;border-bottom-width: 3px !important;border-left-width: 3px !important;padding-top: 40px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;background-color: #ce879f !important;border-left-color: #58646d !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #58646d !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #58646d !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #58646d !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}”]

Give your kids the gift of Mindfulness:

Step 1:  Set aside 10 minutes each morning.
Step 2: Listen to 10 minutes of Headspace (or similar)
