Brown does this with her kids at the dinner table which is a perfect place to do it, we’ve also tried in the morning and last thing at night before lights-out.

Whichever you choose they key is to do it every single day, that way you start to build the gratitude muscle and develop the habit of thinking in this way. Brown’s research shows that the most joyful people were those who practiced gratitude the most.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”the daily lifehack summary” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left|color:%23ce879f” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1467039478004{border-top-width: 3px !important;border-right-width: 3px !important;border-bottom-width: 3px !important;border-left-width: 3px !important;padding-top: 40px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-bottom: 40px !important;padding-left: 40px !important;background-color: #ce879f !important;border-left-color: #58646d !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: #58646d !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: #58646d !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: #58646d !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}”]

Give your kids the gift of joy:

Step 1: Ask your kids to name one thing that they are grateful for
Step 2:Do it every day (you join in too) and say it out loud.
