Please remember to fill in your REVIEW of last week (here is the review worksheet).[/vc_column_text]

the lesson
[vc_column_text]Today we are going to have a bit of fun.

Last lesson, the message was that failure is fabulous and that everyone fails, even adults and famous people.

However, as we all know, failure doesn’t always FEEL like it’s fun.

So today we are going to make failure FUN.

We want to break the emotional hold that failure can have over us, we don’t like it because it makes us feel like we aren’t ‘good enough’, or we hold off going for things for the fear of looking stupid.

We want kids to not be afraid of failing and looking stupid.

And the best way to do this… systematic desensitisation: keep failing until it loses it’s power over you!

This is a great one for you to join in on… you might even break through a mental barrier or two yourself!!!!

Plus, it’s nice for your child to have some moral support on their failure journey![/vc_column_text]

Next lesson we will be working on some strategies so that you can come up with solutions when things do go wrong.

However, it’s sounds great in theory, but as a famous boxer once said, everybody has a plan until they get punched![/vc_column_text][vc_raw_html]JTNDaWZyYW1lJTIwc3JjJTNEJTIyaHR0cHMlM0ElMkYlMkZnaXBoeS5jb20lMkZlbWJlZCUyRmwwSXlleTNtOWFObFpzNWkwJTIyJTIwd2lkdGglM0QlMjI0ODAlMjIlMjBoZWlnaHQlM0QlMjIyNzAlMjIlMjBmcmFtZUJvcmRlciUzRCUyMjAlMjIlMjBjbGFzcyUzRCUyMmdpcGh5LWVtYmVkJTIyJTIwYWxsb3dGdWxsU2NyZWVuJTNFJTNDJTJGaWZyYW1lJTNFJTNDcCUzRSUzQ2ElMjBocmVmJTNEJTIyaHR0cHMlM0ElMkYlMkZnaXBoeS5jb20lMkZnaWZzJTJGaGFybGVtZ2xvYmV0cm90dGVycy1oYXJsZW0tZ2xvYmV0cm90dGVycy1sMEl5ZXkzbTlhTmxaczVpMCUyMiUzRXZpYSUyMEdJUEhZJTNDJTJGYSUzRSUzQyUyRnAlM0U=[/vc_raw_html][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/12″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/12″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”10/12″][vc_custom_heading text=”lesson objective” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:left|color:%23ce879f” google_fonts=”font_family:Oswald%3A300%2Cregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_column_text]So this weeks lesson is going to involve you failing lots, so you can see that it’s really nothing to worry about!

Below you will find a list of 9 activities for you to experience failure and the emotions that come with failing.

The idea is to fail even though you know you are and you know you are going to feel embarrassment.

The more used you are to failing, the easier it gets.

These activities range from slightly crazy to insane!!!

Your job is to do as many of them as you can this week: simple!

Download and print your worksheet here… and let the good times roll![/vc_column_text]
