how the course works
The modules follow a specific pathway which starts with awareness and goes all the way through to helping your child to embed resilience as part of their personal values.
click to see the module pathway...
Before your child can be resilient they need to know what resilience is.
Your child's self belief determines resilient thoughts words & behaviour.
Positivity: how to develop positive thoughts and a positive attitude.
The language your child uses helps to determine thoughts and behaviour.
Your child will learn to be self-motivated and to start taking responsibility.
M10: Secret Tip
What do they do when they don't get the results that they wanted.
To move beyond 'failing'- your child needs to develop self-compassion.
A rich emotional vocabulary is a key element- especially neurologically.
Your child will build a resilience identity based on all their hard work.
Your child will learn to call upon their powers of resilience whenever required.
keeping a record
Each module has an activity sheet that will develop understanding of each theme as well as serving as a handy future reference guide.
That way whenever your child needs ro call upon a particular aspect of resilience, they can simply revisit the module.
Activity sheets can either be:
- printed then filled in offline and you can store them
- opened in a new tab, edited directly and saved then digitally
If you decide to take the digital route, please remember, once your child has finished typing- to press PRINT and then SAVE AS PDF.
Each module should take around 30 minutes.
If you are anything like us, life has a habit of getting in the way of our best intentions so we recommend allocating a specific day and time each week to the Boot Camp.
Block the time out in the diary, as you would any other class so that the Boot Camp becomes part of the weekly family routine.
As Peter Drucker famously said: "If you can't measure it, you can't improve it."
So before you begin, please complete our pre-Boot Camp questionnaire. It takes less than 5 minutes and will allow you to assess how resilient your child is today.
You will complete the same questionnaire at the end of the Boot Camp so you can see exactly how much progress your child makes.
Questionnaire completed? Then... you are all good to go, time to sit down with your child and start this resilience journey together. Good luck and we hope that you and your family enjoy your RESILIENCE Boot Camp.
